ECZ COMMISSIONER NDIYOI MUTITI VISITS CHITAMBO DISTRICT

Commissioner Ndiyoi Mutiti visited Chitambo District today to meet with officials in the district who are working under the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) responsible for voter registration. The purpose of her visit was to discuss the ongoing voter registration process and understand the challenges the district is being faced with.

Commissioner Mutiti and her paid courtesy call on the DROs office, and later, the team held a meeting with ECZ District officials. The district officials submitted the challenges they were facing during the ongoing registration process, shared experiences, and discussed ways to make improvements.

Ms. Mutiti expressed her appreciation for the hard work being done in Chitambo and encouraged the team to continue their efforts.

Later, the Commissioner and her team visited two voter registration stations: Mukando Primary School and the old civic centre in Muchinka Ward currently active registering qualified citizens.

Commissioner Mutiti’s visit highlights the importance of ensuring that all eligible voters have the chance to register and participate in the elections.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) commenced the registration of voters on October 13 and will end November 11, 2025.
